PBSA

The asset class offers a stable income stream, with strong year-on-year rental growth prospects. When compared to more mature, traditional asset classes, PBSA continues to stand out.

BTR/PRS

In the space of just a few years, the UK build-to-rent (BTR) sector has come into its own. While not a new phenomenon globally, it has cemented its position in the UK as a distinct asset class, evolving away from the pre-existing private-rented sector. The investment rationale for purpose-built BTR is a strong one, investments are underpinned by stable occupancy rates, producing consistent cash flows; rental growth continues to outstrip inflation; and needs-based demand is decoupled from economic volatility.

We are working with developers throughout the UK providing a source of funding for their developments. The developers have pipelines of opportunities where we have successfully been able to bring in a cornerstone investor to invest in their pipeline. We have completed a number of BTR transactions for funds and family offices and can assist in exploring exclusive projects with clients.

Care Homes

The care home sector represents a compelling investment, offering a considerable source of stable, inflation-linked long-income, and becomes even more attractive amid today’s market backdrop. It is a high yielding investment paying up to 10% return per annum. Multiple exit strategies with assured capital growth. The property can be fully managed by the care home operator, ensuring a hands-free investment. Care home sectors offer diversity to an existing investment portfolio and pays immediate income.

Data centres are high on the list for institutional investors that are increasingly turning to alternatives in the hunt for asset diversification and enhanced risk-adjusted returns. With the roll-out of 5G demand will spur development of data centres, which house, protect and distribute the key parts of internet technology, operations and hardware.

Among these is ‘edge computing’, a process that pushes applications, data and services away from centralised points to locations closer to the user. Another draw for investors has been returns on offer, which tend to be higher than traditional real estate sectors.
